There's no starter relay on the 1992 nisssan sentra, but there is a ignition relay which controls the starter and this should be located somewhere in the engine compartment where the relay box is. I changed the fender mounted solenoid and wired it wrong , when i started it my new starter wouldn't. Other times it starts on the first try. Starter has been replaced and it still has problems starting sometimes.

How it kept sending signal to the starter to start and then when i unplugged the ignition switch (stopping current to the relay) it quit sending signal to the starter and no matter what. The relay failed the third load test, so hopefully that's the problem rather than the starter, and the test didn't fail just because of the ghetto method i used to apply the service tech at miller toyota where i got the relay ($66, lexus santa monica wanted $100) said that relays don't go bad that often, and that the reason it might.
